God Bless all “Delta Brothers” for your support. I’m still sucking air today due to your bravery.
A welcome site/sight. For those of you that I haven’t been in contact with, I was a pilot with 1st Plt. D/227th at Phan Thiet, from 6/67 – 11/67, Callsign Cobra 15. Prior to that, I was with B/227th.
Hopefully, this site will give us even more opportunities to reconnect with our old comrades.
Best wishes, on this Veteran’s Day and Welcome Home.
July68 to July 70 I was with D company. Door gunner with Steve Burris crewchief on 624 B at camp Evans. Then to Lai Khe where I took over crewing Louis Baumas ‘The Merceneray’ cobra and renamed it the ‘Montana Mercenary’. Sure missed flying in the old B model.
Where are you Richard Quimby?
